How to Give Access to an Instagram Account

If you work with a marketing agency, the recommended way to provide Instagram access is through Meta Business Manager using the Assign Partners option. This allows agencies to manage your Instagram account securely without requiring your password.

Steps​

• Log in to Meta Business Manager

• Go to Settings

• Under Accounts - Click on Instagram Accounts

• Select your Instagram account

• Click Assign Partners

• Choose Business ID

• Enter this Business Portfolio ID: 1155563844838878

• Enable the following permissions:

  • Content

  • Community activity

  • Ads

  • Insights

• Click Assign

 

This method allows agencies to manage content, advertising, messages, and reporting while keeping ownership of the Instagram account under your business, without requiring you to share your Instagram password.
