How to Give Access to Google Ads

If you work with a marketing agency, you can provide access to your Google Ads account without sharing your login credentials. Below are the two most common ways to give access.

Option 1: Share Your Google Ads Customer ID

Your Google Ads Customer ID is the 10-digit number displayed at the top of your Google Ads account.

 

Steps

  1. Log in to Google Ads

  2. Locate your 10-digit Customer ID at the top right corner

  3. Copy the ID

  4. Send the ID to your agency 

  5. The agency will send an access request to your account

  6. Accept the request from your email


Option 2: Add a User via Email

You can manually add a user directly from your Google Ads account.

 

Steps

  1. Log in to Google Ads

  2. Click Admin

  3. Click Access and security

  4. Press the blue + button

  5. Enter the email address: avocadotsmarketing@gmail.com

  6. Select the appropriate access level (Standard)

  7. Click Send Invitation

Providing proper Google Ads access allows agencies to manage campaigns, track performance, and optimise advertising without requiring access to your personal Google account.
