Video Editor / Motion Designer
We’re looking for a Hybrid Video Editor + Motion Designer to join Avocadots’ creative team. If you love telling stories through video, mixing clean edits with eye-catching motion graphics, and creating content that stands out across platforms, this role is for you. You’ll work across agency content, client campaigns, social media, and long-form storytelling projects.

As a Hybrid Video Editor + Motion Designer, you will be responsible for turning ideas into dynamic, visually engaging content. You will work across short-form and long-form formats, combining strong editing skills with motion design to elevate the Avocadots brand and our clients’ brands. This role is ideal for someone who understands pacing, design, and storytelling — and loves bringing visuals to life through animation, typography, transitions, and high-quality edits.

Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

Edit long-form videos for YouTube, client campaigns, and our internal content

Create motion graphics, transitions, and animated elements that elevate storytelling

Develop branded motion assets (titles, lower thirds, hooks, animated typography)

Bring creative ideas to shoots and help shape the visual direction

Work with the digital marketing and creative teams on campaigns

Adapt content to each platform’s best practices and trends

Maintain brand consistency across all video outputs

Optimize content for performance (watch time, engagement, clarity)

Organize and manage footage, graphics, and animation workflows

Ability to create clean, modern, high-quality edits

Strong motion design skills (animated typography, transitions, graphic elements)

A portfolio showcasing both video editing and motion design work
