Business Development & Brand Specialist
We’re recruiting a Business Development & Brand Specialist to cultivate and qualify leads for a marine‑tech client’s social media campaigns and simultaneously drive new business and account growth for avocadots’ marketing services.
This hybrid role splits approximately 60% client‑focused activities with 40% internal growth responsibilities, reporting to the Avocadots Sales Lead with dotted‑line coordination to the client CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Client-Focused (60%)

Lead Identification & Outreach: Phone, email, and social channels (Facebook/Instagram) to reach prospects in yachting, marinas, water sports, and rescue sectors.

Qualification & Nurturing: Classify leads as “Interested,” “Not Interested,” or “Schedule Demo;” maintain multi-touch follow-up (5–7 touches).

Demo & Field Engagement: Coordinate and conduct product demos (online and on‑site as needed); travel within Cyprus and abroad for trade shows, boat shows, and client visits.

Relationship Management: Build positive, long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Handoff & Reporting: Transition qualified, demo‑ready leads to the client CEO; maintain weekly pipeline reports and CRM updates.
avocadots Sales (40%)

Service & Tools Onboarding: Rapidly learn our marketing service offerings, CRM workflows, and automation best practices.

Lead Generation & Follow-Up: Engage Avocadots’ marketing-qualified leads, schedule discovery calls, and coordinate proposals.

Account Development: Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities; collaborate on case studies, testimonials, and social content to enhance brand presence.

Performance Reporting: Contribute to bi-weekly progress reviews and CRM dashboard updates.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Experience: 1–3 years in B2B sales or business development (marine industry a plus).

Skills: Strong negotiation, communication (English & Greek), and CRM proficiency (HubSpot/Pipedrive) is a plus.

Attributes: Entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, target‑orientation, and excellent time management.

Mobility: Willingness to travel across Cyprus and internationally for trade events and client meetings.
Location & Working Model

Hybrid: Split between office-based work (Nicosia or remote) and field engagement for client activities.

Lead Response: Contact 90% of new inquiries within 2 business hours.
